Villeroy & Boch’s New Washbasins

Villeroy & Boch’s new line of surface-mounted Artis washbasins perfectly demonstrate the design possibilities of its new material, TitanCeram.

The new strengthened ceramic material, made from a blend of clay, quartz, feldspar and titanium oxide, can be molded into thin forms that were previously impossible to manufacture.

Comprising four surface-mounted designs, the new Artis line includes oval and rectangular shapes that are deep and functional with extremely fine contours and thin walls.

Elegant and light, the new Artis pieces reflect a wider trend in the industry that has seen many brands introduce their own branded strong ceramic composites that allow for thinner profiles and more adventurous designs.
