Villeroy & Boch Launches A Faceted Sink

German manufacturer Villeroy & Boch have designed a new washbasin with a faceted interior that recalls the shape of a jewel.

Presented on a freestanding pedestal, the Octagon sink offers premium bathroom craftsmanship and precision.

Villeroy & Boch has cast the Octagon sink using its TitanCeram, a blend of clay, quartz, feldspar and titanium oxide, making it shock and scratch proof, as well as being resistant to extreme temperatures and easy to clean.

This innovative material supports thinner walls and defined edges, allowing for the realization of this intricate design.

The basin’s cylindrical pedestal comes in a wide range of high quality finishes, including leather, wood veneer or stone veneer, with a decorative copper ring lining the base of the ceramic basin, offering a unique contrasting materials palette.

The Octagon sink can be installed using a variety of tap fittings including wall-mounted, floor-standing or ceiling-mounted, lending itself to various bathroom configurations.
