Him by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba for Zucchetti

Launched at this month’s ISH in Frankfurt, the ‘Him’ mixers by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba are a sleek new addition to Italian bathroom brand Zucchetti‘s collection. 

Described by the design duo as ‘An architectural object lived in by an almost ergonomically organic handle’, the design follows Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s philosophy that ‘less is more’.

Light and compact, the streamlined design is characterized by its unusually flat spout from which a cascading jet of water surges out. The reduced design is made possible by Zucchetti’s patented concealed cartridge that is subtly installed underneath the ceramic surface to give a marked effect of lightness.

In addition, its no-frills design uses significantly less metal to manufacture while the cascade jet of water, managed and controlled by dedicated devices, allows for constant water savings while guaranteeing comfort of use.
