Happy D.2 by Sieger Design for Duravit
Launched earlier this year, the Happy D.2 line is an updated version of Duravit‘s bestselling Happy D line by Sieger Design that was originally launched in 1998.
Comprised of graceful acrylics, ceramics, and furniture, the Happy D.2 Collection has greater finesse and clarity, boasting clear-cut, architectural lines and rounded corners.
Updates to the line include a softening of the collection’s ‘D’ shape as seen on the bathtubs and ceramics, a new linen finish for the furnishings and the addition of LED illuminated mirror cabinets with an integrated sound system.
There are twelve washbasins and thirteen bathtub models to choose from.
The Happy D.2 washbasin is available as a furniture washbasin with matching vanity unit whose curved fronts complement the curves of the washbasin.
The line also features a surface-mounted washbasin on consoles and a classic pedestal or half-pedestal washbasin.
The furniture washbasin sits on a height-adjustable metal console that also serves as a towel holder.
On the bathtubs, the optimum slope of the backrest offers a comfortable lying position while various whirl systems with different functions and massage effects are available as an optional extra.
Other ceramics include floor-standing toilets and bidets, as well as wall-mounted models. The gently domed lid of the toilet features SoftClose comfort.
On the mirrors, an elegant light canopy throws out indirect, non-glare LED light for optimum illumination of the face. The mirror cabinets are also available with an optional sound system specially designed for the bathroom. All Bluetooth-compatible devices can be used to control the system and to stream music.
Finally, the Happy D.2 furnishings are available in a new linen décor finish that has a structured surface with a linen-like feel.
