Blancoattika by Blanco SteelArt

Created by SteelArt, the high-tech division of German luxury kitchen brand Blanco, the Blancoattika 60/A is a gently countered top mounted kitchen bowl.

The raised edge of the bowl that sits on the countertop is features smooth lines and gently contoured corners for easy cleaning.

A lowered mixer tap ledge on the side makes an enclosed unit for the control elements. The design works particularly well with the Blancoeloscope-F II Monobloc mixer tap – shown above – a design that can be retracted into the surface and swiveled 360 degrees.

An optional matching ash compound chopping board that doubles as a cover for the unit is also available.

Launched last year, the handmade design has received the iF product design award 2013 as well as being voted the “Best of the Best” at the Interior Innovation Award 2013.
