Outdoor Luxury: Kitchen and Bathroom Trend
Furniture and products for outdoor dining, lounging, cooking and bathing are becoming indistinguishable from their interior counterparts. Modern outdoor spaces are regarded as an extension of the home and can be furnished with all of the creature comforts you would expect to find indoors.
At this year’s Milan furniture fair, Italian brand Boffi introduced its first outdoor kitchen. Designed by Piero Lissoni and made in stainless steel, reinforced glass and wood, the Open kitchen island is engineered for outdoor use.
Mario Ferrarini’s ethanol based Babele fireplace for Antonio Lupi can be used both indoors and out. Made entirely of 4 mm-thick steel, the geometric structure accommodates the burner, which is protected by tempered safety glass, as well as a a storage compartment for drinks glasses and other accessories.
