Axor LampShower by Nendo

Combining water with light, the Axor LampShower by Japanese designer Nendo was launched last month at imm Cologne in Germany.

At first glance the LampShower is a simple wire frame lampshade with a standard light bulb that emits a warm ambient glow. However on closer inspection, you’ll find that the rim of the shade is embedded with water jets that provide an enveloping rain shower.

The falling water is illuminated by the light bulb making the LampShower a truly immersive shower experience and an atmospheric addition to the bathroom.

Available in both wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted versions the Axor LampShower is a magical and unexpected design that combines functions and blurs the boundaries between the bathroom and other living areas.

In addition to the chrome version, the Axor LampShower is also offered in a range of special surface finishes such as gold and matte black.
