ME and L-Cube by Duravit

Designers Philippe Starck and Christian Werner collaborated with Duravit to create ME, a line of ceramic pieces, and L-Cube, a collection of modular bathroom furniture. Introduced at ICFF 2015, ME and L-Cube work individually or in tandem to create a sleek, contemporary, and versatile bathroom ideal for both residential and contract applications.

Bathroom Collections Highlight Individuality and Modularity

ME by Philippe Starck includes washbasins, toilets, urinals, shower trays, and accessories. Dominated by a minimalist aesthetic, ME offers slender rim washbasins and slim edge toilets and urinals. The ceramics offer a sense of lightness due to unique design details: washbasins feature an almost rimless appearance, while being deep and practical; toilets and urinals offer rimless technology (a first for Duravit), while providing a dynamic and powerful flow. Bathtubs, shower trays, and bath accessories complete the ME collection.

Designed by Christian Werner, L-Cube “approaches bathroom design with a modular sensibility, allowing users to implement the furniture as building blocks.” A unique feature of L-Cube is its clean geometry. The rectangular and square units are further enhanced by L-Cube’s shadow gap, giving the units “visual framing.” Handle-free doors with self-close technology also add to the clean design.

The L-Cube collection comes in so many available sizes, finishes, and colors that users essentially create their own custom bath. Vanity units range from 24-48 inches, and consoles have both 19- and 20-inch depths. Storage pieces can float or stand on a chrome frame. Tall cabinets come in different heights as well, and mirrors feature an integrated dimmer on four sides. Finish L-Cube in anything from High Gloss White to Dark Oak Real Wood.
