Plover Shower by Oborain

Named after cute little shore birds that feed and nest on the New England shore, the Plover Shower by Oborain is “a simple shower for sandy feet and salty hair, or just freshening up after a day on the water.” Because it’s constructed of cedar panels and welded 304 stainless steel, Plover will withstand the elements.

Outdoor Shower with Sunbrella Curtain and Cedar Planks

Plover Shower features a Sunbrella shower curtain, which can add a splash of crisp white or bold color. The cedar deck and panels add a lovely scent and can be stained or left untreated. When left alone, the wood will turn a silvery-grey over time “while retaining its natural strength and rot-resistance.”

Oborain pairs the Plover Shower with a simple galvanized Kohler fixture or with its own copper and brass fixture that features a foot spout. Plover uses a hose kit to hook up to hot and cold water taps or can be tapped into permanent lines. Oborain is dedicating a portion of its 1% For The Planet funds to the Audubon Society to help protect the plover’s natural habitat.
