The transformation of the bathroom space into a home spa experience continues in 2014 with Italian brand Zucchetti.Kos set to launch a luxury outdoor wellness shower at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. 

Called Wazebo – a  portmanteau of water, wellness gazebo – this shower stall is set up in its own mini pavilion. The design by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba comprises an open tubular metal structure with a rounded slatted wood shower tray and a sensuous 40cm diameter rainfall shower head. Taking an outdoor shower often means having to forego a few of the creature comforts that are readily available inside, but with the new Wazebo, bathers will be able to enjoy all of the benefits of an indoor luxury shower in an outdoor environment.

The Wazebo can be installed on any kind of surface, even directly onto the lawn. The new design will be unveiled in April this year at the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
